Changing Gloves on a Compounding Aseptic Isolator

The gloves and sleeves of your PharmaGard Positive Pressure Compounding Aseptic Isolator (CAI) NU-PR797 will need to be replaced on a regular basis. NuAire recommends replacing fixed gloves on a daily basis and the sleeves every six months.

Before attempting to replace gloves or sleeves, it is recommended the isolator be running to flush the work area with clean air.

First, invert the sleeve/glove assembly by placing one hand into the glove and pulling it back through the glove port and out of the isolator. Remove the stainless steel holding spring which holds the glove in place. Pull the old glove off the glove ring and replace using an approved glove. Place the stainless steel holding spring back over the glove and ring and push the glove/sleeve assembly back through the glove port.
